Several years ago I was tired of my daily grind and in desperate need of a career change. After doing some research I decided to take a shot at a trucking career. Looking back my only regret is that I did not make this change 10 years earlier than I did. If you are looking for a new career, here are a few reasons why you may want to consider a trucking career in the trucking industry.

1. What other occupation can you not only get free training but get paid while you are being trained? Trucking company schools will not only pay for your training, they will pay you while you attend their trucking school and have a job when you are done!

2.In the world of entry level jobs, where can you start out at a $35,000- $40,000 a year pace and be earning at over a $60,000 a year pace by the end of your first year.

3. The freedom of trucking career jobs are unparallel. Truck drivers don't have someone looking over their shoulders every 10 minutes. In fact, you can smoke, eat, and nap whenever you feel like it. Try this at another job!

4. Job security. With a truck driver shortage and thousands of trucking companies to work for you will never struggle to find a trucking job.

5. Don't want to be away from home? There are trucking company jobs that get truck drivers home daily like any other job.

The reality of my trucking career job is that I am being paid to drive down the road and listen to my satellite radio with a great line up of programming. I talk on the phone to my family and friends or on a C.B. radio with other truck drivers. For my sacrifice I get paid over $300 a day and 85% of the drivers at my trucking company are home everyday.

If you find yourself getting tired of your daily grind you may want to do what I did. Investigate the trucking industry and go to truck driver school. With only three months experience I was able to get one of the best trucking career jobs in the trucking industry.
